Appointment Of New Director

| | Firestone Ventures Inc. (the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Greg Fedun to the board of directors of the Company. Mr. Fedun has been involved in the financing and management of public companies since 1993. Currently, he is President of Iciena Ventures Inc., CEO of Candorado Operating Company Ltd. and a director of Algorithm Media Inc., all of which are companies listed on the TSX Venture Exchange. Mr. Fedun will assist the Company in reviewing properties for potential acquisition and in raising concurrent financing.
