New Gold Zone Confirmed At Firestone's Bradshaw Hill Project

VANCOUVER, June 10, 2004 -- Firestone Ventures Inc. (FV:TSX-VEN) is pleased to announce confirmation of a new gold zone at the company's Bradshaw Hill project located approximately 10 km southeast of Hedley, British Columbia. Two new mineralized zones, the "Mozart" and "Beethoven" were identified during the course of Firestone's recently completed Bradshaw Hill exploration program. Composite grab samples of arsenopyrite-rich altered chert from the "Mozart Zone" returned values up to 6.35 g/tonne gold. In addition, a silt sample collected from a stream originating along strike 100m east of the Mozart Zone returned a value of 1155 ppb gold. Rock samples collected from the Beethoven Zone returned values up to 0.265 g/tonne gold.

The Mozart Zone is located 400m southwest of the Bradshaw gold-bearing quartz-arsenopyrite-pyrite vein system, which has been explored most recently by drilling in the mid-1980s. At that time, drilling intersected chert-hosted veins which yielded values up to 105 g/tonne gold across 0.7m.

Firestone's field crew confirmed the presence of high-grade gold, including vein-hosted visible gold, in the previously drilled area. Grab samples of vein material returned values up to 50.6 g/tonne gold. A 1.5m chip sample of mineralized chert, including some vein material, located at a separate adit, returned 15.7 g/tonne gold. Chip sampling across sheared, altered host rock returned values up to 0.528 g/tonne gold across 1.4m, indicating mineralization is not confined to quartz veins.

Chip sampling of sheared quartz-monzonite within the "Bush Rat Pit" near the previously drilled area returned a value of 7.26 g/tonne gold across 2.0m, confirming previously reported results. The absence of sulphides and the presence of only minor quartz veining at the Bush Rat Pit indicate a distinct setting of mineralization.

The results from the 2004 sampling and mapping program at Bradshaw Hill confirm the diversity and extent of mineralization within and proximal to the previously worked area.

Firestone's field crew has now moved to Yukon Territory, to begin work on a ten-day exploration program on the Sonora property located 110 km west of the town of Carmacks. The exploration program consists of detailed geological mapping, geochemical sampling and prospecting to help determine potential targets for a diamond drilling program.
