Firestone Ventures Retains Watts, Griffis and McOuat Limited

 October 6/2005 - Firestone Ventures Inc. (FV: TSX-V) is pleased to announce that it has retained the services of Watts, Griffis and McOuat Limited to consult on the Company's Torlon high-grade zinc project, Guatemala. Torlon is a road accessible zinc-oxide style prospect and is well situated in terms of access to Pacific Region zinc markets.

Watts, Griffis and McOuat (WGM) is a Toronto-based firm of independent consulting geologists and engineers that has been serving the needs of the Canadian and international mining community for over 40 years. WGM has expertise in every aspect of the mining industry from regional exploration programs through mine development. Services include project management, institutional strengthening, mineral property valuation, due diligence studies, feasibility studies, remote sensing and GIS services, database creation and validation, and Mineral Resource/Mineral Reserve estimation through to mine design and planning.
